Hey there, we’re The Techno Kittens a London based double act made up of Leigh & Nicola. We’re supported by some super talented and passionate writers. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and we just want to share the music we find and love with you. The music we are in to varies but our favourite genres would have to be house, techno, bass and garage. We like to have fun with our blogging by adding in cats and being a bit silly from time to time…we hope you can join in.

The Techno Kittens
Leigh - From the Midlands but now firmly rooted in London, Leigh has loved electronic music since he was a wee lad. His favourite labels include Mobilee, Kindisch, Drumcode, Hot Flush, Aus & Kompakt with his sound sitting in the darker side of house & techno. Having dipped in and out of DJing over the years, he launched our first ever Kittencast and has produced two more since. The thrill of discovering new artists and tracks fuels his passion for music and blogging.
Nicola – Essex girl turned Londoner Nicola is a cat lover and an electronic music head. She’s often found bouncing around on the London underground scene and especially loves summer trips to Ibiza and various festivals. She’s the scribbler of the team and you’ll often find her doodling, daydreaming and drawing lots of pictures of cats. Her favourite labels include mobilee, Aus, Get Physical, Drumcode, M-Nus and Tri-Angle.
B-me – Hailing from East Anglia, B-me has spent the past decade living in East/North London. His passion for dance music was born out of an childhood love for Orbital and Underworld and has developed into an obsession that encompasses everything electronic from techno, house, bass and jungle right through to IDM and glitch. B-me works as a visual artist and produces in his spare time. Current labels of choice include Aus, Hemlock and Ostgut Ton. Check out his artwork here and tracks there.
Cassidy – Cassidy is a Californian who loves the sounds of Detroit, Chicago, London, and Berlin. He likes longs walks of the beach, analog sequencers, technics 1200s and IPAs. Cassidy also makes house music with his friend, Joseph Duffy. You can listen to his music here: http://www.soundcloud.com/j2c-1
Max – A house head from Southend, Max is no stranger to the Manchester and London club scenes. His love of house started with visits to legendary club Sankeys, The Warehouse Project and now on the best (and sweatiest) dance floors that London has to offer. Desolat, Minus, Wolf & Lamb, Cadenza and Visionquest all float his boat and you’ll find his music library packed with tracks from DJs such as Loco Dice, Luciano, Richie Hawtin and Noir.
Toby – Toby grew up in a small costal town in Essex where he was introduced to jungle music at a young age. After attending a Helter Skelter rave on Hastings pier at the age of 14 he was hooked. He now enjoys producing and having a good stomp to a broad spectrum of electronic music.
Amy – I first got in to the electronic dance music scene when I moved to London from Lancaster in 2005 to study painting. Regular nights out at The End for Erol Alkan’s Durrr nights got me hooked and I’ve not looked back since! I’m a complete techno head, mainly loving the German techno DJs like Dominik Eulberg, Extrawelt, Âme and Solomun, but my current favourite is a good ol’ Brit, Daniel Avery. When I’m not raving around the London club scene and festivals you’ll find me in my Hoxton studio making sets, sculptures and paintings.
