This year we are popping our ADE cherry and heading on over to Amsterdam to finally experience one of the biggest events in the European dance calendar. We’ve watched from the sidelines for a number of years now and enough is enough, no more FOMO… we’re off to ADE and these are the parties that we recommend…
DGTL x Mosaic by Maceo – Maceo Plex is bringing his hugely successful Mosaic party to ADE and within seconds of seeing the line up for this event we had our tickets and flights booked. Featuring some of our favourite producers of 2016 – Gardens of God, Agents of Time and Shall Oncin – it also includes a number of live performances from two artists that we have been dying to see for quite some time now – KiNK and the mighty Stephan Bodzin (Godzin). It’s the latter that we’re super excited for. Having missed a number of his shows over the last year and with Powers of Ten sat firmly as one of our favourite albums of all time, we may shed a tear or two during his live show. Tickets are already sold out, as you’d probably expect!
Afterlife at Loveland – A close runner up to the DGTL party with Ame B2B with techno master Rohad, Dixon, Gerd Janson, Matthew Johnson (live), Mind Against and Tale of Us all on the bill. It was a tough call but it was the promise of Bodzin & KiNK live performance marathon that swung it for us.
Chapter 24 x When We Dip ADE Showcase – Kicking off from 5pm this is the perfect the perfect party to warm up your ADE Friday, as Chapter 24 have teamed up with music tastemakers When We Dip with their first official ADE showcase. With C24 favourites Miss Melera, Miyagi, Patlac, Mabetrieb, Sam Pauli and Mas Black all in town, we’ll be heading down for a few cocktails and some deep melodic tunes.
Terminal M x Tronic – There was no way that we could resist this line up – Pig&Dan, ANNA, Christian Smith, Oliver Huntemann, Monika Kruse, Noir and Christian Smith – well that’s just a big fat serving of some meaty techno right there. Sign us up.
DGTL x Kompakt – We’re not on commission for DGTL, promise. But when they keep delivering line ups like this, and teaming up with one of our favourite record labels, we can’t help but get excited – Kolsch, Michael Mayer b2b Agoria, Laurent Garnier, Patrice Baumel and Ame (live). Ding dong.
All Day I Dream of Amsterdam – Lee Burridge, Lost Desert, Gorje Hewek and Satori (live) are a few of the artists that will be bringing the gentler sounds to what we’re certain will be a bit of a weary ADE party crew. A perfect way to close off the ADE antics.
