We celebrated our first birthday on 12th March 2013
It’s been a pretty eventful year for us as we’ve turned our obsession of hunting for and sharing new music into something of a hobby.
We’re extremely humbled that our little blog has built a loyal following, with over 700 of you following us on facebook , 400 on twitterand 350 on soundcloud.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to you all for following us and hope you enjoy the music that we share as much as we do!
So thanks so much for all your support and stick with us for the next year and beyond as we continue to grow and think of new and exciting things to share with you.

We love Boiler Room. They pull in the best djs around and bring us live webcasts that make us feel like we’re there partying with them. They also post all the sets on their soundcloud page for us to listen to if we missed it live. Started in an empty warehouse in East London in 2010, they have rapidly grown and now have shows in Berlin, LA and New York, impressive stuff. It’s music tv for the digital age. We heart you Boiler Room.
We first came across HVOB last year when we fell in love with their track ‘Dogs’ which made it into our ‘Top tracks of 2012’. Well they’re back with another gorgeous track featuring beautiful ethereal vocals and lush melodies. They’ve definitely got a strong sound of their own. We predict big things for this trio and reckon they’ll sound pretty heavenly live.
Their debut album ‘Her Voice Over Boys’ will be out on 8th March and we cannot friggin’ wait. They’ve promised us first dibs so we’ll be reviewing it for you at the end of Feb, keep an eye out. They’ll also be touring with the new album although no dates set for the UK yet…
Bondax love their fans. Yeah they are pretty cool like that. We’ve just noticed they’ve shared on their FB account that a whole load of their tracks are up for free DL – however they’ve put an equal amount of official releases out too so show yer love if ya like ‘em and buy yerself a treat. Our UK festival of choice this summer Eastern Electrics has just announced its second wave of acts and it’s getting us more excited than is socially acceptable on a Tuesday. The biggies include Maya Jane Coles, Moderat, Maceo Plex and Matthias Tanzmann. That’s a lotta M’s! The rest of the dirty 30 are below:

Also announced were some more arena hosts, including the superb Boiler Room, expect some exclusives! Mr Rob Star, founder of EE, has said that this line-up consists of pretty much every artist he’s ever wanted to book – wowzers – and they’ve still got some of their biggest headliners under wraps! Well done Team EE, you have produced a corker here. We can’t wait to hear more!
