Monika Kruse and Pig&Dan smashed summer 2016 with their first collaboration ‘Oblivion‘ and since then we’ve been left wanting more. Queue summer 2017 and another release from this mighty techno alliance – ‘Get Me On’.
The keen-eared amongst you may have spotted Kruse dropping both tracks from this latest EP in her Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 and in a recent Boiler Room session where she played a monstrous B2B with Andrea Oliver.
Title track ‘Get Me On’ is a punchy track with driving percussion and delicate melodic notes that float throughout, adding depth and groove. On the B-side, ‘So Good’ is another hefty techno piece with a kiss of euphoria. Layers of synth motifs and distorted vocal samples create suspense and build the track towards one mighty drop.
Both tracks are serious dancefloor bombs and you’ll be sure to hear them dropped at many a party this summer.
Monika Kruse meets Pig&Dan ‘Get Me On’ is out now on Terminal M (grab it here).
