This set from Groove Armada in Miami really makes us feel like we’re dancing on a beach in the sunshine (really it’s at our desks in London, but we do have some sun at least). It’s a typically uplifting mix from Tom and Andy featuring lots of their own tracks and plenty of bouncy house classics. One of the techno kittens first fell in love with electronica when she got her mitts on Groove Armadas first album ‘Northern Star’ and has been bopping ever since, so they hold a special place in her heart. We heart you GA!
Hello you fluffy little head bopping cuties!
This smooth set from Robert James delivers almost two hours of soulful house. There’s a laidback funky vibe from the start which soon builds momentum, dropping in some classic house tracks with catchy vocals and rather nice organ samples. The set also blends in some modern bass to give it a pretty tasty deep house edge. Hula shake your stuff to this.
Been a long time since the kittens have been so smitten with a whole album- but John Talabot’s ‘fin’ is a little bit special like that. Eclectic house with not a single skippable track, this is a listen all the way through kind of a journey. From world influences to screaming samples, catchy choruses to bouncy chords, Talabot certainly knows how to push our buttons. A must hear.
