It’s been a big couple of weeks for album releases and last week saw the release of the massively anticipated new Ian Pooley album ‘what I do’. We don’t really know what else to say apart from- BUY IT. It’s an absolute must-own, offering beautiful housey-discoey loveliness, hinted at by last year’s anthemic single release ‘CompuRhythm’. But the album goes far beyond and explores new territory for Pooley, we certainly weren’t expecting it to be so damn poppy, but we love it all the more for its little surprises. Stand out tracks are ‘1983’, ‘CompuRhythm’, ‘I got you’ and ‘what you love’. If this is what you do Mr Pooley, please continue.
